About the project

Parkinson’s is a complex disease that requires a wide variety of expertise to discover the causes, explore new treatments, improve quality of life, and find a cure. That is why the World Parkinson Coalition is dedicated to bringing together physicians, scientists, nurses, rehab specialists, care partners and people with Parkinson’s at the World Parkinson Congresses.

Since the first World Parkinson Congress delegates have returned to their communities, inspired by the people they have met and the things they have learned, and gone on to publish papers, start organizations, and make the world a better place for people living with Parkinson’s.
